The end of an era.

After 8.5 years I took (another) leap of faith. I resigned from my corporate job.

This was not an easy decision. Far from it. But earlier this year some family members had some health issues, and I had a flashback to a feeling I had buried a long time ago: during COVID every kilometre of distance between me and my family felt like it had been multiplied by 10. And it was terrifying.

Terrifying to feel so far away from those that could easily be closer to (I still have brothers in the US) - so I made the decision to uproot and head to Madrid. Although I’m not from Madrid, I feel a strong connection to that city.

The idea of something happening and not being able to be there is something I’ve struggled with ever since I finished college, packed, and left the city where my family lived. Now, 15 years later, I’m ready to grow some real roots.

So, what does the future hold? Time will tell.

For now, some down time. Family, friends, good food, and the occasional wave.

Peep below a snapshot of some of the projects I had the pleasure of working on over the years.
